Three Ingredient Baby Banana Pancakes

The simplest pancakes you can whip up for your baby, toddler, teen or yourself. Try these as is or switch up the main produce for an entirely new experience.

Equipment

  • Frying pan or skillet

Ingredients

  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Banana mashed
  • 2 tbsp whole wheat flour may need 3 depending on size of banana

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients together to desired pancake consistency.
  • Over medium to low heat, gently pour about 1 tbsp of batter onto the pan.
  • Allow to cook fully before flipping to the other side.
  • Enjoy hot or allow to cool and freeze for later.

Notes

Cooking Notes:

  • Swap out the banana for other fruits such as pureed prunes, peaches, pears or fruit puree from a baby pouch
  • Go savory and use mashed potato or sweet potato instead
  • Try an optional add-in or topping such as hemp hearts or peanut butter to boost the quality fat intake
